HARTRAMPF designed a one-story Administrative Base Building of approximately 4,500 SF connected
directly to the existing Ann Arbor Air Traffic Control Tower by a one-story link structure of approximately 350 SF. 

Our services included :

• Mechanical Engineering: sanitary, drain, waste and vent, and storm systems, potable cold water system, potable hot water system, vacuum systems, and natural gas system in the design
• Fire Protection/ Life Safety Engineering: wet pipe sprinkler protection throughout the Base Building and link to include fire alarms, detection and communication systems
• Electrical Engineering: exterior and interior lighting service, load analysis, standby power supply load analysis, short circuit analysis, selective over-current protection coordination analysis, and voltage drop calculations

All drawings and specifications (hard copy and electronic files) were produced
to conform to the FAA – Great Lakes Region standards.
