HARTRAMPF's design of the Birmingham VA project consists of a new in filled four-story structure attached to the existing multi-story VA hospital in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. 

• The ground floor will be constructed/renovated into canteen, retail and vending space. 
• The first floor and third floor will be clinical/out patient spaces consisting of individual offices, waiting areas, nurses stations and testing areas along with the necessary support spaces such as storage, maintenance, laundry and drug storage. 
• The second floor will primarily be administration with private offices at the perimeter, supporting staff in cubicles, conference rooms, restrooms and storage areas. 
  

 HARTRAMPF is providing all design engineering services to construct thebuil-
ding, including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire
Protection and Civil.  The required infrastructure and environmental issues will
be integrated into the exiting facilities as required to make this a comfortable
modern facility.
